Listing rules

Who may advertise

• Owners, family members acting for an owner, and agents with permission.
• The property must be in Bahawalpur or its surrounding areas while that is the only area we cover.
• One advert per property. Duplicates are removed.

What the advert must contain

• A truthful title, price and description of the actual property.
• The correct purpose and category, and the fields that apply to it. We do not ask for bedrooms on a plot.
• At least one real photo of the property itself. Stock images, borrowed photos, brochure renders and decorative pictures are not accepted as property photos.
• Rent stated with its period, and sale prices stated as a full PKR amount.

Photos and video

• Up to 15 images, JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10.5 MB each. You choose the cover and the order.
• One optional video per advert, MP4 or WebM, up to 500.0 MB. Large files take a long time on a mobile connection, and playback depends on the viewer's device.
• Where the format allows it, we remove location information embedded in your photos before publishing.
• Draft and pending media stay private. Only approved media is published, and access is withdrawn when an advert is unpublished.

Please leave these out

• Phone numbers, emails, WhatsApp links or social handles.
• The exact private address, house number, or gate plate.
• Ownership documents, CNIC, bills or anything with someone's details on it.
• Watermarks, filenames or spoken audio containing contact details.
• People's faces where they have not agreed to appear.
• Discriminatory, offensive or misleading wording.

Anything in this list is sent back for changes before publication. Enquiries are meant to reach you through Gharamaan, which is what keeps unwanted calls away from you.

Review and publication

• Nothing is published until our team approves it.
• A rental advert is published after approval. A sale advert is published after approval and confirmed payment of PKR 500.
• You cannot set your own approval or payment confirmation. Those are admin actions.
• Editing the price, description or media of a live advert creates a revision. Your current advert stays up until the change is approved.

Keeping it current

• Mark a property as rented or sold as soon as it happens.
• Unpublish an advert yourself at any time.
• We may unpublish or archive an advert that appears to be unavailable, inaccurate, or reported with good reason.
