Fees and commission
There are two separate things: the fee to put an advert on Gharamaan, and the service commission if a let or a sale actually completes.
Listing fees
Rental advert
Free
Posting a property to rent costs nothing. It still needs to be approved by our team before it appears.
Sale advert
PKR 500
Per sale listing, paid before the advert goes live. It is published only after our team has approved it and confirmed your payment.
Service commission
Completed sale
1% of the final sale price
Charged only if a sale or purchase actually completes through Gharamaan. This is separate from the PKR 500 advert fee.
Completed let
One month's agreed rent
A free rental advert does not mean the rental service is free. If a let goes ahead through us, the service commission is one month's agreed rent.
Who pays, and when
Who pays a commission, and the point at which it becomes payable, is agreed with Gharamaan before you proceed. We have not fixed a single rule for this, we do not assume that both sides pay, and nothing is billed to you automatically.
Paying the sale advert fee
The PKR 500 fee is paid online from your dashboard through a secure payment page (JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank account or card, once our merchant setup is complete). A payment counts only after the payment provider confirms it to our server — a screenshot or receipt is not accepted. A paid advert still needs our approval before it is published.
If our payment details are not configured yet, your listing stays pending and you can contact us to arrange it. We will never show you invented payment details or pretend a payment succeeded.
What we never ask for
- Card details on this website.
- Property deposits or rent paid to Gharamaan.
- Recurring charges. Ordinary edits to your advert are not charged again.
